VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Senior standout Jessica Worsley (Brick, N.J./Brick Memorial H.S.) earned her second Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Bowling Athlete of the Week Award for her performance last weekend at the NCAA Mid-Winter Invitational. Worlsey averaged an amazing 212.2 in team games.

Her average was the second best in the field of over 100 bowlers and because of her outing she earned All-Tournament Team honors. She totaled 2,122 pins over ten games. She had seven games over the 200 pin plateau, including a 257 against Morgan State.

She helped lead the Lady Hawks to a first place finish in the event and a 10-4 record. They posted an 8-1 mark, and a no decision, in the ten games and then a 2-3 mark in baker games.

It is the second time this season she has earned the award and the sixth time this year a UMES kegler has earned the award.

The Lady Hawk's other two-time winner, Kristina Frahm (Oswego, Ill./Oswego East H.S.), was also recognized as an other top performer for her outing. She was also on the All-Tournament Team with a fifth place overall finish and posted a 203.67 average over nine games.

UMES is back in action this weekend at the Capital Classic in Dover, Del.
