VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - For the third time this season University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) freshmen Kristina Frahm (Oswego, Ill/Oswego East H.S.) has earned the nod as Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC0 Bowling Athlete of the Week. Frahm recorded 1,093 pins at this past weekend's Capital Classic and averaged an amazing 218.60. Frahm also earned All-Tournament Team honors and finished second overall at the event. She led UMES to a second place finish and a 9-1 mark at the event. She recorded four out of five games over 200. Her highest game was a 237 against Morgan State. Also receiving recognition was All-American Laura Zanrucha (Binghamton, N.Y./Susquehanna Valley H.S.) who was also named to All-Tournament Team and averaged a 215.20 pin fall and tallied 1,076 total pins.
