April 4, 2007 PRINCESS ANNE, Md. - For the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) Bowling fans who missed the Hawks run to their second straight Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) title, FEAR NOT! The telecast of the championship will air on ESPNU tomorrow night, April 5 at 7:00 pm. The event will run until 8:30 pm. Fans, supporters, students, faculty and staff of the University are encouraged to attend a watch party held by the UMES Department of Athletics. The watch party will begin as the event starts at 7:00 pm. Doors will open at 6:30 pm in the dance studio of the William P. Hytche Athletic Center on the campus of UMES. The MEAC Champion Bowling team will be on hand along with MEAC Coach of the Year Sharon Brummell. UMES faced Bethune-Cookman University (B-CU) in the championship final that was held in Norfolk, Va. on March 25, 2007. The Wildcats took UMES to the brink, winning the first set of Baker matches three games to two and making the Hawks play a second set, where they toppled B-CU 3-2 to win their second consecutive title and third overall. This will be the first time that the championship will be shown on National television.
