PRINCESS ANNE, Md. - The University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) is set to honor the 2013 USBC Collegiate National Championship women's bowling team on Thursday, May 2nd on campus in the Student Services Center (SSC) Rotunda at 11 a.m. during the campus' `Hawk Hour.'

That night the Delmarva Shorebirds will honor the team by having them "bowl" out the first pitch when the Shorebirds take on the Lexington Legends at 7:05 p.m. It is "College Night" at the Shorebirds and many students from UMES, Salisbury and Wor-Wic Community College will be in attendance.

During the daytime celebration the team will sign autographs, unveil their National and MEAC Championship banners from the balcony, share championship cake with everyone in attendance and make a grand entrance while head coach Kristina Frahm, Director of Athletics Keith Davidson and President Juliette B. Bell, Ph.D. will address the crowd.

That night Harry The Hawk and the team will visit Arthur W. Perdue stadium, throwing out the first pitch, signing autographs and taking in the game.

The event at UMES is free to the public and campus while the Shorebirds game is just $5.00 for college students.
