PRINCESS ANNE, Md. - PRINCESS ANNE, Md. - Sophomore Kristina Frahm (Oswego, Ill.) and freshman Chris Conner (Powell, Tenn.) have been named the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) Athletes of the Week for the period ending Nov. 9.

Frahm, of the women's bowling team, helped the Lady Hawks to wins over Howard, Coppin State, Morgan State and Hampton in team games at the MEAC Northern Division matches over the weekend in Washington, D.C.

Individually, Frahm bowled five games, winning three and averaging 214.6. She had 1.073 total pins.

The bowling team (13-10) next hosts the UMES Hawk Classic in Millsboro, Del., Nov. 21-23.

Conner, a guard, scored a game-high 21 points and pulled down three rebounds in the men's basketball team's 75-35 exhibition win over Swarthmore College Nov. 4.

The Hawks open the regular season travelling to Stony Brook Friday, Nov. 14 at 7 p.m.
