VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - For the second week in a row a bowler from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) has been named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Bowling Athlete of the Week. Kristina Frahm (Oswego, Ill.) earned the honor for the week ending November 9, 2008. Frahm led the nation's no. 1 ranked team to a 7-3 mark at the MEAC Northern Division match-up in Washington D.C. this past weekend. The defending National Rookie of the Year knocked down 1,073 pins total pins and averaged a whopping 214.6. In five team games she bowled three over 200 with a high-game of a 258 against Howard University. Frahm leads the defending National Champions into another MEAC Northern Division match-up this weekend at Millsboro Lanes in Millsboro, Del., the Hawks home lanes. Action starts at 10:00 a.m. each day.
