After completing a successful playing career with the Lady Hawks, Rena Bishop remains on the UMES bench as a graduate assistant coach. Bishop played four seasons for the Lady Hawks and was a dual letterwinner in both softball and volleyball. She was among the team's leaders in batting average, RBI's and fielding percentage during her tenure with the maroon and gray. Bishop is currently pursuing a master's degree in Guidance and Counseling. She is from Rockville, Md., where she was a two-sport standout in high school. |
