Jennifer Wilson (Princess Anne, MD/Washington) and Heather Patnode (Jefferson, MD/Brunswick) got on base for UMES in the fifth inning, but they were left stranded as Maryland walked away with the 9-0 victory. The Terps scored early in the second game as well, taking a 4-0 advantage in the first behind a three run homer by Klein. Pollack added two RBI in the second inning and Nneka Cardoza scored to push Maryland's lead to 7-0 at the end of two. Wilson led off at the top of the fourth and singled to get her second hit of the day, but the Lady Hawks were not able to put anything together as the next three batters went down in order to leave UMES scoreless. The Terrapins plated two more runners in the fifth to secure the victory. Wilson led the Lady Hawks, going 2-4 on the day while Marlee Johnson (Stouffville, Ontario/Newmarket), Jenille Edwards (Brampton, Ontario/St. Thomas Aquinas), and Patnode each added one hit.
