Feb. 25, 2007 DURHAM, N.C. - The University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) softball doubleheader versus North Carolina Central (NCCU) has been cancelled due to heavy rain in the Raleigh-Durham area, NCCU announced today. The two teams will not make up the series. UMES returns to action with a single game against Winston-Salem State in the first round of the North Carolina A&T Invitational on March 2-3.
