March 13, 2006 BALTIMORE, MD - Freshman Kendra Saunders was named to the 2006 Dawg Pound All-Tournament team on Monday, March 13. Saunders, the only Hawk to receive All-Tournament honors, was selected by the participating coaches to be on the all-tournament squad. In the five games on the weekend, Saunders hit .384 (5-for-13) with one run scored (a home run) three RBI's, 11 putouts and nine assists. She drove three runs with her home run to left field in the final game against Howard on March 12. Saunders and the Hawks look to get back on track when they face the Lady Bison in their conference home opener on March 15.
