March 23, 2005 FARMVILLE, VA - The University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) softball team's non-conference games against Longwood and UNC Greensboro on Wednesday, March 23 at Lancer Field have been cancelled due to inclement weather in the Farmville, Va. area. The Lady Hawks (3-9, 2-2 MEAC), who are coming off losses to Ohio and UNC Greensboro on Tuesday, March 22, are scheduled to return to action on Friday, March 25, when they visit Norfolk State at 2:00 p.m.
