April 7, 2007 PRINCESS ANNE, MD. - Due to a string of snow showers passing over the Mid-Atlantic portion of the country, the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) baseball and softball doubleheader, both scheduled for Saturday, has been postponed. The Fighting Hawks were scheduled for a three-game series against Norfolk State this weekend while the Lady Hawks were tabbed for a doubleheader versus Coppin State. A make-up date has not yet been announced.
