PRINCESS ANNE, Md. - After the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) bowed out early in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) softball tournament, the league announced early this week that Eastern Shore native Hannah Mills (Parksley, Va.) was named to the All-Tournament team. The standout pitcher and catcher was the only Lady Hawk named to the post season team.

As one of three UMES players to record hits in both games of the tournament, Mills did not strike out and went 2-for-4 with a triple and double, posting an impressive 1.250 slugging percentage.

The freshman has played in every game this season, missing just two starts, and leads the team in stolen bases while tying for the lead in home runs and triples.

Mills is ranked 16th nationally in walks and has the second best ERA and slugging percentage on the team. She is also tied for second in doubles.
