BALTIMORE, Md. - The University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) Women's Tennis team fell 7-0 to the host Morgan State University (MSU) Bears in the first Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) match-up for the Hawks on March, 16. MSU shut out the Lady Hawks at every position that was played as one through five singles all fell 8-0.

UMES defaulted at number six singles as well as number three doubles.

Fatoumata Ba, Bolanle Abioye and the team of Christine Bermudez and Brigette Squire were topped 8-0 at number one and two doubles by the score of 8-0.

UMES is back in action next weekend taking on Delaware State in a MEAC match-up.
