PRINCESS ANNE, Md. - In their second Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) match of the season the Lady Hawks of the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) fell 7-0 to local rival Delaware State University (DSU). Bolanle Abioye had a solid outing falling at number two singles 6-0, 6-1 and playing a strong match at No. 1 doubles with teammate Fatoumata Ba falling 8-3 to Hanna Adewumi and Julieta Yung. Brigette Squire and Christine Bermudez were shut out at number two doubles, 8-0. UMES (0-5, 0-2 MEAC) was also shut out at numbers one, three, four and five singles by scores of 6-0, 6-0. The Lady Hawks defaulted at No. 6 singles and No. 3 doubles. The Hawks are back in action on Wednesday at Hampton University in a MEAC match-up.
