PRINCESS ANNE, Md. - Aissatou Ba fell 6-2, 6-1 to Jana Korycankova at #2 singles in a solid match as the Lady Hawks were blanked by the Hampton University Lady Pirates, 7-0 in a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) match. The University of Maryland Eastern Shore (0-11) was shut out at virtually every spot with #1 singles sensation Nadia Flores Hernandez falling 6-1, 6-0. In doubles play Flores Hernandez and Ba fell 8-1 to Elena Besedova and Katerian Jiskrova while Tonaio Swangin and Bolanle Abioye fell at #3 doubles 8-2 to Syreeta Thompson and M. Morgan. UMES returns to action on Sunday at Howard at 11:00 am.
