Towson, MD - The Towson University Tigers tamed the University of Maryland Eastern Shore's (UMES) Lady Hawks Tennis team today by a 7-0 score. In the only non-conference match of the season UMES failed to muster much offense and were swept in singles and doubles competition. Vicky White was the only Lady Hawks to score. She fell in singles action 6-0, 6-1 and, teaming with Sivonne Lynn, fell in doubles action 8-1.
It is back to MEAC play as the Lady Hawks head home to face the Lady Bison of Howard University on the ninth.
