5 Questions with Ndidi Ibe

Today, we sit down with junior volleyball player, Ndidi Ibe.

What are your career aspirations?
Volleyball wise, I would love to repeat a MEAC Championship. Winning a National Championship would be amazing. Professionally, I want to play volleyball professionally, but after graduation, I plan on going to MD/JD school and becoming a lawyer and OBGYN.

What is currently in your iPod?
I have a lot of everything on my iPod. I have the obvious Trey Songz, Young Money people, etc. But I also have some country, rock, reggae and dance hall. I even have songs from the Disney Channel. It's a mix of everything.

Tell Hawk fans something about yourself that they normally would not know about you ...
I like to sing, dance and write songs. I have 10 years of ballet experience and a couple years in jazz, tap and modern dance.

What is your biggest motivation in life?
I want to make my family proud and I do not accept failure. The best feeling in the world is doing what people say I cannot do.

The key to success is ...
Hard work, communication and dedication. When you have a goal or dream that you want to attain, sitting around and hoping for it to happen will get you nowhere.

Thank you Ndidi, good luck on your upcoming season.
