Senior Marlee Johnson had a game-high 15 digs for the Hawks

The Florida A&M Rattlerettes (15-2, 7-0 MEAC) continued their mastery of the MEAC, moving to 5-0 in the Round-Up tournament with a straight-game victory over the UMES Hawks (12-13, 6-2 MEAC), 30-16, 30-10, 30-23. The Hawks finished the weekend tournament with a 4-1 record.

Tereza Arellano (13 kills, 10 digs) and Adriana Kostadinova (11 kills, 10 digs) led the Rattlerettes with double-double efforts, while Andreina Ruiz picked up 9 kills and 12 digs. Setter Mariela Portocarrero racked up 41 assists to go along with her eight digs.

The Hawks were paced by Jana Milin, who just missed a double-double with 10 kills and nine digs. Mandy Dever totaled six kills and 10 digs, while Marlee Johnson picked up a team-high 15 digs. Kate Smith compiled 23 assists for UMES.
