ORANGEBURG, S.C. - The Lady Hawk volleyball team won a pair of matches on the final day of the MEAC Roundup on Sunday. UMES took down Norfolk State 3-0 (30-27, 30-16, 30-21) in a morning contest and later defeated Bethune-Cookman 3-0 (30-21, 30-24, 30-27) to finish 3-2 on the weekend.

Holiday Eller had a match-high 21 kills with .366 attacking percentage against the Spartans. Caylin Woodward and Adora Luster contributed nine kills apiece while Yael Rozner and Maja Baltic each served up five aces. Rozner also finished with 39 set assists.

Chantel Cherry led Norfolk State in kills with seven. Solange Honore added nine digs to go along with 23 set assists.

In the decision against the Lady Wildcats, Eller's double-double of 14 kills and 14 digs paced the maroon and gray. Woodward added a double-double of 13 kills and 12 digs while Rozner added 36 set assists and 15 digs. Braxton chipped in with 16 digs.

Danielle Goodrum and Chelle Ticeson each had nine kills for Bethune-Cookman.

UMES (13-12, 6-3 MEAC) is off until Oct. 24 when they head to Hampton for a MEAC decision at 6 pm.
