Stepahie Taylor serves to help the Hawks defeat NSU

Princess Anne, MD - The University of Maryland Eastern Shore Volleyball Team (24-9, 9-1) defeated Norfolk State University (2-20, 1-9) in three straight games by scores of 30-12, 30-23 and 30-19. This continues their wining streak six straight.

The Hawks were led by Mamie Lewis with 13 kills and 8 blocks. Sanda Dzile notched 30 assists for the victory.

"I proud that the girls are continuing the winning streak and staying on top of their game," said Coach Toby Rens.

Norfolk State was led Stacey Williams and Amanda Johnson, who each had 9 kills for the night.

The Hawks next match is against George Washington University in Washington, DC on November 11 at 6:00 p.m.
