June 2, 2004 Princess Anne, MD - The University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) Department of Athletics is proud to announce its UMES Summer Volleyball Camps 2004. The camps, held August 3-6 in Tawes Gymnasium, home of the Hawks, are split day camps for high performance and beginners. The camps, featuring Head Coach Alex Temkin, will feature small group instruction, a free camp t-shirt, information sessions for college bound players, an on-site camp store, and instruction from Coach Temkin, local High School coaches and Division I UMES players. The High Performance session will begin each day at 8:00 AM and continue until 12:00 PM with the Beginner camp starting at 1:00 pm and ending at 5:00 pm. The camp fee is just 75.00 per session. The UMES Hawks are a Division I program coming off a Northern Division MEAC title and a second place finish in the highly competitive Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Tournament.
