Sept. 6, 2005 BUFFALO, N.Y. - Junior Leah Amundson (Tuscon, Ariz./Arizona Western C.C.) was named to the 2005 WNY Invitational All-Tournament Team on Sunday, Sept. 4. Amundson, who averaged nine kills and 8.5 digs per match, was selected by participating coaches to be on the all-tournament squad. Amundson posted a double-double in the loss to Canisius on Sept. 2, finishing with a match high 21 kills and 14 digs. The transfer from Tuscon, Ariz. had a team high 36 kills and 34 digs on the weekend. Joining Amundson on the all-star unit is Abby Casciato (Army), Katie Weekley (Buffalo), Jackie Adlam (Colgate), Beth McArthur (Navy), Stephanie Hopkins (Niagara) and Mary Boller (Canisius). The Lady Hawks will return to action Tuesday, Sept. 6, when the team takes on Norfolk State in 6 p.m. road contest.
