Oct. 16, 2004 PRINCESS ANNE, MD - The South Carolina State Bulldogs defeated the Howard Bison 3-1 in their first match of the day by scores of 32-30, 30-24, 30-16 and 30-25. The Bulldogs dropped the first game but swept the next three to improve to 2-1 on the weekend. South Carolina State (17-4, 3-2) was led by a double-double from Aubrey Posadas, who finished with 11 kills and 14 digs in the win. SCSU had three other players finish with double digits in kills, Monique Walker, Stacey Stewart and Kinshasa Hill, tallying 16, 12 and 11 kills respectively.
The Bison (5-19, 3-4) were led by three players, each finishing with a double-double. Kimberly Dexter had 20 kills and 14 digs while Kollin Hoskins added 13 kills and 11 digs. Outside hitter Morgan Maxwell tallied 10 kills and 17 digs in the loss.
