Oct. 16, 2004 PRINCESS ANNE, MD - Bethune-Cookman College (BCC) ended day two of the three-day Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Round-Up with a three-game victory over Morgan State. BCC (7-6, 4-2) won 30-27, 30-17, 30-27 to improve its record to 3-1 after falling to the University of Maryland Eastern Shore earlier in the day. The Wildcats were led by Melissa Sanders who had a team-high 11 kills and added 11 digs. Irie Cormier led the team with 16 digs, while Megan Myers recorded 33 assists with seven kills, nine digs and two service aces.
Morgan State (14-15, 6-3) dropped to 2-2 on the weekend, but received a tremendous effort from Ashley Alexander, who had a match-high 14 kills, Junel Jeffries, who had a match-high 35 assists, and Ashley Preston, who had a match-high 20 digs.
