Oct. 17, 2004 PRINCESS ANNE, MD - North Carolina A&T finished up play in the 2004 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Round-Up with a 30-28, 30-23, 30-27 victory over Howard University. N.C. A&T (9-12, 7-1) improved to 5-1 on the weekend as Krystal Cooper (17 kills and 10 digs) and Arlene Mitchell (14 kills and 13 digs) each recorded double-doubles. Brendan Chatman recorded 35 assists while Leinitia Williams had 10 kills and Lauren Walker had 10 digs.
Howard (6-20, 4-6) was paced by Kollin Hoskins team-high 13 kills and Kimberly Dexter's double-double (10 kills and 14 digs). Shannon Grant chipped in 37 assists in the loss.
